Rustic Senior Session in the Country | Abilene Senior Photographer

Boys and girls, it’s been a long time since I’ve blogged - good grief! Might as well get my feet wet with this cutie pie I photographed around Thanksgiving up near Anson!

I’ve been friends with Rylee’s aunt since I’ve lived in Texas so of course I was thrilled when the family asked me to take her pictures when she was visiting for the holiday. They described their vision and I saw stars when they said the family’s land had a bunch of old tractors and other vintage/rustic props we could use! I LOVE tractors and anything we can play on to add depth to what we are already creating.

Of course I was bummed as the day arrived and there was no sun, just a bunch of clouds. I’m glad I get these days every once in a while, though; it gently reminds me that you don’t NEED that golden light to have a perfect session. It’s all about the client, what makes them happy, and me making them feel as comfortable as I possibly can. This is why I love my job.

This being my first blog in over a year so let’s keep it short and sweet but you will be seeing more in the future!

Be safe, friends!

XOXO
